THE FAMILY

Iveland Tree Top Panorama is owned and operated by the Andersen and Finsland families.
Stian Finsland is behind the whole idea behind the treetop cabins at Iveland.
He got the idea after acquaintances had spent the night in similar cabins. Stian's in-laws have forest property in Iveland that has been in the family for several generations. With this location and enterprising brothers-in-law, the family business was founded and the construction process could begin.

Furukrona, which is the first treetop cabin, has been an ambitious project that has required countless hours of work, ingenious solutions and good cooperation with the contractors involved. From start to finish, this building process has been educational and challenging, but the result is much better than we could have ever imagined.

Two cabins have so far been applied for and approved. The first cabin, Furukrona, was ready mid-October 2021. Tretopp cabin number 2, Ørneredet, was completed on 1 October 2023..

MOVIES & BUILDING PROCESS

During the construction process, we have tried to document the various stages. The films we have published help give you a little insight into how a treetop cabin in the middle of the forest is created. It also includes the extensive process of making a road through raw forest. By taking a look at the videos, you will get to know some of the family members involved in the project.
